Like all great love stories, ours has humble origins.
It all started with a little sample roaster in the living room of our apartment in Rotterdam.
A few unhappy neighbours, plenty of over-caffeinated
testers friends and a production roaster later,
we’re now roasting, crafting and packaging coffee every week
from our micro-roastery in Rotterdam.
Not average.
That’s the point.
We source our coffee with consideration and in line with ethical and traceable values, with care for the environment and support for the communities behind the coffee.
For that reason, we only work with specialty coffee beans. Coffees with character, provenance and a story worth preserving.
We roast slowly and lighter than average, allowing the natural sweetness, acidity and flavour of each coffee to stay visible in the cup.
The aim is to craft a bean that is exactly that… not average. Instead, it’s delicious, well balanced and near perfect. Hey, we’re keeping it humble.
And that’s really the goal behind this whole craft coffee thing: to share our love and respect for great coffee and prove exactly what coffee can be when it’s treated with the care it deserves.
